Role Title: Youth Worker Intern

YIC is seeking someone passionate about empowering at risk young people and supporting their families and community. The intern will join youth workers to support the delivery of activities to children and youth aged 5-25. YIC programs are aimed at building trusting relationships and addressing life challenges. YIC work with over 500 children/young people each year. This is an extremely rewarding role but can be very confronting at times so the team meet regularly to support one other.
The Youth Involvement Council aims to empower young people in Hedland to create positive life pathways and become contributing members within a safe community.
