Applications now open: International Internship with Global Citizen, New York

Applications are now open for our international internship opportunity with Global Citizen, New York.

The Global Poverty Project (GPP) is an international education and advocacy organization working towards the end of extreme poverty by 2030 by building partnerships across civil society, media, entertainment, business, government and the general public. The Global Policy and Advocacy Interns will be responsible for assisting the Global Policy and Advocacy team to efficiently and effectively engage with a range of stakeholders, partners, policymakers and audiences as GPP seek to execute their advocacy initiatives for 2017, including the Global Citizen Festival.

Hear from Dominique, UWA student who undertook the internship in 2016 here.

This is a 3 month internship and will commence in semester 2. A travel bursary of up to $3,000 is available for the successful student. Students will need to book their own travel as per the University guidelines for student travel and arrange their Visa and own accommodation.

We will be holding an information session about these internships where you can find out more about the role, expectations and hear from last years interns on the 4th April:
