Global Citizenship Exchange

Do you want to explore active citizenship on a global scale and gain credit towards your qualification?

The McCusker Centre for Citizenship has partnered with Durham University to offer this global opportunity to undertake a Global Citizenship Exchange in Durham.

This opportunity is:

  • Open to both undergraduate and post graduate students
  • Shorter than average international exchange programs, running from 4 to 12 weeks commencing from the Summer Break (November 2018 to February 2019)
  • Eligible for travel bursaries of up to $1,500 and accommodation will be provided by Ustinov College

The successful applicant will:

Undertake an internship and participate in other projects and activities of the host centres. Read about last year's student Nic Mattock's experience here.

Pollinate Student Fellowship

Are you passionate about international development and social enterprise and want to earn credit towards your degree?

The McCusker Centre for Citizenship has partnered with Pollinate Energy to offer this global opportunity to participate in their Student Fellowship Program in India.

The opportunity is:

  • Available to one student in Summer 2019 (undergraduate or postgraduate)
  • For 4 weeks over the Summer Break (November/December 2018)
  • Eligible for funding support from the McCusker Centre for Citizenship and UWA

The successful applicant will:

Actively contribute to projects that make a difference to the lives of local families and communities through sustainable business models and environmental solutions to real-world problems.
