Role Title: Marketing and Communication Intern

Fremantle Foundation is a community foundation that was established over 10 years ago. A community foundation attracts tax-deductible donations to its Public Fund and subfunds and builds a capital base known as a corpus (a fund of money invested in perpetuity), to provide a permanent and growing source of funding. The income earned each year is returned to the community as annual grants to deductible gift recipients or other tax-deductible entities. In addition, the community foundation through its governing charitable company or trust can support wider charitable purposes. Fremantle Foundation currently has over 70 Named Fund and distributes approximately $500K in grants each year.
The intern will assist with social media planning for 21/22, website updates, and communications via newsletters.

A Community Foundation is a tax-exempt grant-making public charity that is dedicated to improving the lives of people in a defined geographic area, with the Fremantle Foundation primarily focused on Philanthropy for WA. The central purpose of a community foundation is to serve the needs and philanthropic aims of donors who wish to better their community, now and in the future. Over the last 10 years we have distributed over $2.5M in grants to charities across WA and Australia.
