Role Description

The Science and Innovation division within the Department of Jobs Tourism, Science and Innovation has just commenced the development of a 10-Year Science and Technology Plan that will guide the science and research priorities of the state for the coming decade. A critical aspect of developing this plan is engaging with critical stakeholders across government, universities and industry.
The role will be hosted during the targeted consultation phase for the plan. Your role will be to work with the Project Lead to organise and execute consultations with key stakeholders. This will include meetings with key stakeholders, surveys and online consultations. Key stakeholders will include representatives of other government departments, universities, research institutes and industry. Your role will involve planning and organising the meetings, understanding the consultation issues paper, assisting in taking minutes of meetings/forums, identifying key outcomes and planning next steps.
