Community Engagement Intern, Data Champion - Housing and Homelessness Services Directory Annual Review

Role Title: Community Engagement Intern, Data Champion - Housing and Homelessness Services Directory Annual Review

Organisation: Home Hub

Internship Period: Winter (June - July)

Location: Subiaco

Role Description

Home Hub is an affordable rental housing marketplace that provides centralised and independent access to information, resources and options - like a realestate.com for affordable rental housing.
Home Hub hosts WA's community-led housing and homelessness services directory. As the WA housing crisis worsens, Home Hub's services directory is becoming increasingly critical in how the WA community can access and navigate the housing, homelessness and other community services that might be appropriate. We're seeking a relationships driven and creative intern, who can take the lead on engaging with communities across WA to update the services directory. Specifically, local government, state government, the not-for-profit and private sector stakeholders are increasingly searching for easy ways to share their service information to people who may require them. Can you take the lead in making critical information and resources (potentially big data) accessible and understandable for people in need - come and help play a role in having community impact now. Use data 'for good'!

Organisation Mission

The Home Hub offers a hand up, not a handout. It’s a place to find or advertise social and affordable housing, allowing landlords to list properties easily, and people to apply for safe, secure homes quickly.
