Role Title: Research Intern, Market research (quantitative analysis)

Role Description

The Program Intern – Data Analyst will deliver critical insight into IPAA WA individual membership through a research project entitled ‘Life Cycle of an IPAA WA Delegate: Positioning IPAA to serve 5000 members and guests by 2027’. The project will be build on a 2021 internship project and three years worth of data held in IPAA WA’s database to identify attendance patterns by organisations over time.
The four stages of the project being: • Develop research questions in conjunction with the Program Manager, • Data cleansing and sample identification, • Data analysis using appropriate statistical techniques, • Prepare and present a final report including a profile of current delegates and recommendations as to service improvements for the IPAA WA Program. The research will enable IPAA WA to better meet the needs of its members by targeting services through a better understanding of who engages with our program and when. Strategically this project falls under the objective of increasing annual attendance at IPAA WA’s program of seminars, conferences and events to 5000 by 2027.
