Role Title: Project Lead Intern
Organisation: 180 Degrees Consulting WA
Internship Period: Semester 1 (February - May)
Location: Perth
The Project Lead Intern role in 180DC WA drives the project for the not-for-profit client, by leading a team of four to five consultants, and liaise with the client to ensure that the recommendations fit the client’s needs. They will also be communicating with a Consulting Director, who acts as an internal advisor for the project, and a consulting firm Mentor, which helps to provide professional advice for the project team and their recommendations. The project lead acts as a middle man for all of these stakeholders.
The project lead is responsible to oversee the creation of high quality recommendations and deliverables for their not-for-profit clients. To do so, they would need to be able to organise regular meetings and communications between stakeholders, setup the systems for their project team, review the work and give feedback to consultants, and delegate tasks for consultants as well. They are also in control of developing their consultants' skillsets with the Consulting Director. These tasks would take up approximately 8-10 hours per week.
