Role Title: Grants and Fundraising Intern
Organisation: Association for Services to Torture and Trauma Survivors (ASeTTS)
Internship Period: Semester 2 (August - November)
The intern will investigate funding, grants, philanthropic donations and fundraising opportunities for ASeTTS to pursue, to extend or continue services to people from refugee-like backgrounds who have experienced torture and trauma.
The intern will liaise with staff across ASeTTS to understand core areas of client need and areas for development or growth, where possible the intern will engage with clients and ethnic community leaders. The intern will identify avenues through which funding, grants, donations and fundraising can be pursued and through research develop materials to assist ASeTTS staff in successfully applying for resources. The intern will be supervised by the CEO, and will be supported extensively by ASeTTS' Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
The Association for Services to Torture and Trauma Survivors (ASeTTS) has a proud history of serving humanitarian entrants and refugees settling in WA since 1992. ASeTTS aspires to provide holistic services that assist refugee survivors of torture and trauma to rebuild their lives.
