Role Title: Project Intern - Social Impact & Website Project
Organisation: Kulungah Myah Community Centre
Internship Period: Summer (November - December)
Location: Kardinya
The intern will help KMCC develop a profile of its social impact, as well as generate content for its website. The intern will conduct interviews and transcribe content, as well as develop easy to read articles for our website. The audience will be our stakeholders, our funding bodies, and interested members of the general community. The intern will play a key part in our marketing strategy, as well as support our service evaluation. They will work closely with our small team of staff and board members.
The Kulungah Myah Community Centre (KMCC) is a community managed not-for-profit organization, that provides a range of programs enabling personal development, social connections, group education, and community participation for all people in our locality. Our vision is to empower our community by bringing people together. We are based in Kardinya, Western Australia. Our Centre is a friendly and welcoming environment to learn, create, share ideas, and bring dreams to life. Our Aims:
- Ensure Sustainability: Ensure effective governance, operations, and the development of strategic partnerships for ongoing viability.
- Embrace Diversity: Provide opportunities for specific groups within the locality to participate in our service, and tailor programming to emerging community needs.
- Strengthen Collaboration: Increase inter-agency collaboration to optimise service provision and to extend our community reach.
