Role Title: IT and Data Systems Intern, People & Culture

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in system integration and automation. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our People & Culture team's efforts to streamline and automate our processes. Your primary responsibility will be to develop an integration solution that seamlessly connects Jira forms with Microsoft Word document templates. This means that the data entered and approved in Jira forms will be automatically transferred to the corresponding Word document templates.
As a Systems Intern, you will:
• Analyse Current Process: gain a deep understanding of our existing Jira forms and Microsoft Word document templates
• Design Integration Solutions: Collaborate with our ICT and People & Culture teams to design a robust integration solution to enable smooth data transfer
• Programming and Development: Utilise your technical skills to develop the integration solution, ensure that it is user-friendly
• Testing: Rigorously test the integration solution to identify and resolve any issues or bugs
• Documentation: Develop records of the integration process, including coding procedures, troubleshooting steps, and user instructions
• User Training: Provide training to users who will use this integration and ensure they are comfortable with the new system
