Role Description

The Older People's Rights Service is a program within the Northern Suburbs Community Legal Centre. It has a multidisciplinary team of lawyers and advocates that address issues of elder abuse for older people. We are wanting to expand this service into a mediation program, specialising in mediation for older people experiencing or at risk of experiencing elder abuse; a mediation model but with key elements focussed on best practice working with older people. We would like the intern to create a draft model, with standards, based on literature review.
