Role Description

Working closely with the Executive Director and Outreach Coordinator of Yogazeit Ltd., this role plays an important role in helping to plan and maximise Project Mindful Hearts.
This unique project (scheduled to take place on the ground in early 2022) educates and empowers remote school communities and wider networks in selected regions in the Kimberley with Mindfulness and Movement by educating school staff and community members while simultaneously providing interactive experiences to the children and elders on site. The Intern will be responsible for helping the team to plan this project, including stakeholder engagement, mapping, outreach coordination and research as well as actively promoting this project across multiple channels (website, social media, press, partner marketing) using Design Skills and storytelling techniques to share this project and the impact it will make. You'll be connecting with our partners to collaborate and drive promotion (Australian Heart Foundation, Fairgame, Act Belong Commit, local schools and community members). Having an understanding of the mental and physical benefits yoga can provide - especially to Youth and Aboriginal Communities - will help you with this project.
