Tom Mackay graduated from UWA with a Bachelor of Commerce in July this year and has since moved to Narrogin to begin his professional career. He was back at UWA today to receive a McCusker Centre for Citizenship’s Outstanding Intern Award for his contribution to the work of the Road Safety Commission.

Michael Kyron's passion for mental health is driving his work with UWA’s School of Psychological Science and Suicide Prevention and Resilience Research Centre. He undertook an internship through the McCusker Centre for Citizenship during his PhD studies in 2017, an experience which he says was an important stepping stone in his career.
