Role Title: Project Intern: Homecare Service Analysis

Internship Period: Winter (June - July)
Location: Dowerin and from home
The Intern will undertake a structured review of our current Home Care service delivery, focusing on client trends, service utilization, and financial sustainability. The role will support evidence-based decision-making through data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Analyse the current Home Care client base, including:
Number of clients, service types, and growth trends
Allocation of services across CHSP and HCP programs
Conduct a feasibility and sustainability assessment of the service
Review and analyse hours worked across service types, including:
Domestic assistance (cleaning)
Gardening and maintenance
Personal care and other support services
Assess workforce utilisation, including:
Staff hours vs contractor hours
Allocation efficiency and gaps
Identify cost drivers within the service, including labour, travel, and contractor usage
Provide insights into opportunities for improved efficiency, cost recovery, and service expansion
Prepare a final report with findings, data visualisations, and recommendations.
