Development Dashboard Revitalisation Intern

Role Title: Development Dashboard Revitalisation Intern

Organisation: UWA Development and Alumni Relations

Internship Period: Summer (November - December)

Location: UWA Crawley Campus

Role Description

The Development and Alumni Relations team at The University of Western Australia plays a pivotal role in connecting the aspirations of donors and alumni with the University’s mission. We are committed to achieving ambitious fundraising and engagement goals through collaboration, strategy, and innovation.
We are offering an exciting internship opportunity to lead the revitalisation of our Development Officer Dashboards — a key tool used to guide performance, track progress, and strengthen conversations between staff and managers. This role will focus on designing a new, centralised dashboard that incorporates best-practice elements to serve as a “one-stop” source of information. Working closely with senior staff, the intern will also develop a supporting package of training resources and standard operating tools to embed the dashboard into the team’s practices. This project will not only improve how the Development team tracks and achieves group KPIs, but will also create lasting resources that foster self-directed performance management. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply skills in systems design, data analysis, and organisational development while contributing directly to the effectiveness of a large professional fundraising and engagement team.
