Role Title: Data Analysis Intern
Organisation: Alike WA
Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Willagee
Alike WA is the peak body in WA for peer support groups, servicing and representing almost 800 peer-led groups across the State. We assist group leaders - predominantly volunteers - to build their knowledge, skills, and capabilities, supporting them to better lead and sustain their groups. Peer support groups offer a space for people to meet others with a similar or shared experience, such as a health condition or life adversity, and to support one another emotionally and practically.
We’re seeking a capable and motivated data analysis intern to take the lead on a short-term project that will enhance how we collect, manage, and report on evaluation data from our workshops and events. This includes creating automated calculations to measure average confidence level increases across a series of workshops, average satisfaction level outcomes across a range of workshops and events, and creating graphs and visuals that best display the data.
After an initial project briefing, you’ll drive the work forward - designing solutions, building systems, and delivering a series of recommendations for data improvement, including opportunities to utilise AI tools.
