Role Title: Communications Intern

Internship Period: Summer (November - December)

Location: L2, 11 Harvest Terrace St, Perth

Role Description

The intern is expected to support with the Mental Health Advocacy Service (MHAS) communications related work. Priority is for the intern to contribute to the initiation of a communications & marketing plan and calendar for internal and external comms on the long run. This includes internal communication mediums (such as SharePoint and e-Newsletters) and external, such as Linkedin. Also, the intern is expected to continue the support provided by interns on providing designed collaterals and visuals and alignment with MHAS branding based on need. The intern is expected to create a user guide to inform new joiners about the design elements and Sharepoint use at MHAS.

The Mental Health Advocacy Service offer a free service supporting people who are receiving or referred for involuntary mental health treatment. We are there to help them understand and exercise their rights. Our advocates are independent from hospitals and mental health services.
