Role Title: State Policy Research and Development Intern

The State Policy Research and Development Intern will support YACWA’s Operations team by analysing data from our stakeholder consultations, informing the development of our strategic policy reports. This project will guide YACWA's advocacy work with the WA Government to improve support systems for young people.
Over the course of the internship, the intern will assist with analysing existing data, collecting data from consultations with young people and youth sector professionals, and develop policy recommendations that address the concerns of YACWA's stakeholders. Using these insights, they will help develop a draft strategic document to guide State Government decision-making that enables better WA for all young people.
This internship offers practical experience in community-focused policy development, building skills in qualitative research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. We're looking for someone organised, enthusiastic, and excited to help shape Government decision-making to create meaningful change for young people in WA.
