Role Title: Business Analytics Intern
Organisation: Umbrella Multicultural Community Care Services
Internship Period: Winter (June - July)
Location: Belmont
The Business Analytics Intern will support Umbrella in analysing service demand, utilisation and operational data across key programs.
The role focuses on generating practical insights to support decision-making, improve service delivery and inform resource allocation.
The intern will also develop a simple, ongoing dashboard to track performance across services.
Dashboard Requirements
• Include key programs: HSS, SSG, Care Finder, ACVVS.
• Metrics: referrals, clients, service hours, utilisation, waitlists, trends.
• Simple, clear and easy to update.
• Designed for practical use by management.
Expected Outputs
• A concise report (10–12 pages).
• 3–5 key insights and recommendations.
• A functional dashboard (Excel or Power BI).
