Role Title: Finance Systems Intern

Internship Period: Summer (November - December)
Location: Welshpool
This internship will support the Y WA Finance Team to review and improve the efficiency of financial transaction processing and journal allocation practices.
The primary focus of the project is to investigate opportunities to automate or streamline the coding and journaling of high-volume banking transactions while maintaining compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements and organisational controls.
The intern will gain practical experience in:
- Financial systems and accounting processes
- Business process analysis and improvement
- Automation and workflow design
- Financial data analysis and reporting
- Organisational governance and compliance
- Systems evaluation and implementation
