Role Title: Volunteer Coordination Intern

The Volunteer Coordination Intern for the Victoria Park Centre for the Arts will (in collaboration with the Director) manage advertising, recruitment, and training for volunteers at the centre, particularly for our Front of House volunteers. Volunteers welcome visitors, direct them to various gallery spaces and amenities, respond to enquiries and share information about current exhibitions. They also assist in the processing of sales in the Gallery shop, record visitor numbers and when needed, help with simple administrative tasks.
There will also be management of an Art Centre busy bee to maintain our physical space and gallery and prepare our venue for upcoming exhibitions and community programming.

Purpose: We are a space for creatives and community to come together to participate in artistic and cultural experiences.
