Role Title: Social and Health Policy Intern

Role Description

The Health & Social Policy Intern will support the organisation’s work in advancing evidence-based policy and program development, with a focus on community wellbeing and equity. The intern will work closely with the Senior Manager and project leads to conduct research, analyse policy trends, and contribute to the development of policy briefs, submissions, and organisational strategies.
The intern will primarily engage with internal staff and key stakeholders across the health, social, and community services sectors. This may include reviewing community consultation findings, supporting stakeholder engagement activities, and contributing to projects that inform advocacy and program delivery. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applied policy work, including research, analysis, and real-world implementation in a not-for-profit or community-focused setting.
