Role Title: Turning Point Program Intern
Organisation: Invisible Illnesses
Internship Period: Winter (June - July)
Location: Rockingham
As a Turning Point Intern, you will be part of a small team helping to design and prepare an early-intervention youth program supporting young people aged 10–18 who are disengaged, at risk, or experiencing behavioural and family challenges.
You will contribute to a real, community-led project — assisting with program development, research, stakeholder engagement, and building practical tools that will be used to support young people and their families.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assisting in the design and development of the Turning Point program
Researching youth services, early intervention models, and community needs
Supporting engagement with local organisations and partners
Helping create resources, templates, and program materials
Contributing to evaluation tools and impact reporting

You’ll primarily interact with:
The Program Development & Community Services team at Invisible Illnesses Inc.
Local youth services, schools, and community organisations
Potential partners including justice, mental health, and support services
Internal volunteers and mentors involved in program delivery
