Role Title: Legal Policy Intern
Organisation: Cancer Council WA
Internship Period: Winter (June - July)
Location: Subiaco
Working with Cancer Council WA's Make Smoking History team, this policy internship concerns the intersection of law and public health. The intern will identify legal gaps, make recommendations and prepare resources that will help address the issue of secondhand smoke and vape aerosol exposure from neighbours. There is a high level of community concern about neighbourhood smoke drift. With experienced lawyers as mentors, the intern will be well supported in this innovative project.
Cancer Council Western Australia is WA’s leading cancer charity working across every aspect of every cancer. We’re determined to change that, which is why we are working, every day, to get closer to a cancer free future.
