The Australian Child and Youth Wellbeing Atlas (ACYWA) is a comprehensive, publicly accessible data platform that maps indicators of health, development, and wellbeing for children and young people aged 0–24 across Australia.
https://australianchildatlas.com/ Grounded in the Nest Wellbeing Framework developed by the Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth (ARACY), the Atlas encompasses six key domains: Healthy; Learning; Material Basics; Valued, Loved and Safe; Identity and Culture; and Participation . We are seeking a motivated Research Intern to support the update of the description of the health and wellbeing indicators and their related policy contexts. This is a desktop-based research internship with a focus on practical application and translation of research and information in policy and service contexts, rather than academic writing. Key Tasks - Review and update existing indicators information on the ACYWA website (https://australianchildatlas.com/indicators) using current information and data sources. - Research and summarise relevant national and state policy frameworks linked to indicators. - Ensure all data and policy information is properly referenced using credible sources (academic papers, government reports, research briefs, grey literature, etc.). - Maintain organised research notes and sources for future updates. - Participate in check-ins with the ACYWA team based at the School of Population and Global health.
