Role Title: WACSSO Digital Content Intern
Organisation: WA Council of State School Organisations (WACSSO)
Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: East Perth
WACSSO is in the process of delivering training material in a more digestible, user-friendly format via a new initiative called 'WACSSO Soundbites.' The vision for these soundbites is that our affiliates (members, who are all P&C volunteers) will be able to listen to short recordings that provide training on a range of topics, including running successful sausage sizzles, attracting volunteers and grant writing tips.
We're looking for support to research and recommend the best platform to house and publish our soundbites, as well as support in scripting, recording and producing a set of initial episodes.
The scope of work will include:
- Recommend interview platform (currently a teams meeting recording)
- Investigate best editing tool and develop a template
- Investigate best platform to publish
- Develop list of soundbite topics and participants
- Develop schedule for soundbites
- Draft Soundbite scripts
- (if time permits) Record a set of episodes
- Develop a report detailing the content created throughout the internships, the results (engagement, impact, etc.), and recommendations for next steps/future content creation
