Role Title: Video Content - filming and editing

The role will involve filming and editing content that will go on the new Playgroup WA website. Our research has indicated our audience (families with young children) like to see short, succinct videos. Having the content provided in video format, as well as words and images, makes our content more accessible and easier to engage with and understand. Playgroup WA's marketing manager would manage the project, including what and who to film and where, and the intern would be involved in filming the content and editing it, suitable for uploading on Playgroup WA's YouTube channel and linked on to website. Some of the videos would demonstrate play activities (what you need, what to do). Others would demonstrate a playgroup set up or other information about running a playgroup (talk to camera with visual footage or photos/graphic images to demonstrate and text/captions). We have a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 creator camera with mic to use for filming, and recommend using our Canva Pro account for editing, although other video editor options can be considered.
Playgroup WA advocates for, promotes, establishes and supports playgroups and
related programs. This enables families and young children to regularly meet, have
fun, make friends, and learn together through play in an inclusive and safe place.
