Role Title: Event Intern
Organisation: WA Social Enterprise Council (WASEC)
Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Fremantle
Working directly alongside our CEO, Events Manager and Learning & Design Manager, you will play a key role in supporting two of WASEC's flagship programmes:
WA Social Enterprise Awards — celebrating the entrepreneurs and organisations proving that business can be a force for good in WA
Social Impact Incubator Programme — supporting the next generation of WA social entrepreneurs to build and grow their businesses
What you'll be doing
Supporting the planning and delivery of events from start to finish
Engaging with social entrepreneurs and established WA social enterprises
Assisting with event set-up and ensuring the smooth running of sessions
Contributing to a team that is passionate about purpose-driven business
What we're looking for
Enthusiasm for events, community and social impact
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive, can-do attitude
There will be some evenings you will be required to travel to the city for the awards and the option to support the incubator.
