Role Title: Training Needs Analysis and Skills Mapping Project Intern

Project Overview
REED is seeking a motivated intern to support the HR Manager and WHS Coordinator with the delivery of a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Skills Mapping Project across the organisation. This project will assist REED to identify current and future workforce capability needs, assess skill gaps, and inform the development of targeted training and professional development initiatives.
The project is aligned with REED’s commitment to quality improvement, workforce sustainability, compliance, and inclusive practice within the early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector.
Project Objectives
The intern will contribute to the following objectives:
• Analyse current workforce roles, competencies and training levels
• Review mandatory, compliance and professional development requirements
• Identify skill gaps and emerging capability needs
• Consult with managers and employees to gather training information
• Develop clear findings and practical recommendations for training priorities
Key Responsibilities
Under supervision, the intern will:
• Assist in designing and administering surveys, questionnaires or interviews
• Collate and analyse qualitative and quantitative workforce data
• Review existing training records, policies and procedures
• Map skills and competencies against role requirements
• Prepare written reports, summaries and presentations outlining findings
• Support the development of a workforce training needs framework
