Role Description

As the Learning and Development Project Intern, you will research contemporary L&D practices and strategies of the private and public sectors, research and understand the Public Sector Commission's approach with Building Leadership Impact, the Leadership Expectations Framework, and Learning Initiative.
Analyse the costs and benefits of different strategies and approaches in the context of DPIRD's operating environment. In consultation with the OD team, develop and draft an L&D strategy that will help DPIRD lead its people to achieve their deliverables over the next 3 years and present the strategy to the OD team and Director, People and Culture You'll work closely with the team, and especially the Manager L&D and the Assistant Director. You'll have the opportunity to engage with others in People and Culture as well as other business areas, including our internal Communications team, in person and/or via MS Teams.
