Empowering Abilities Together is a community-focused organisation dedicated to supporting individuals of all abilities to thrive through inclusive programs, skill-building workshops, and empowerment initiatives. Our mission is to create meaningful opportunities that promote independence, confidence, and community connection for people of all abilities.
The Grants and Fundraising Intern will play a key role in helping Empowering Abilities Together secure funding to support and expand our future programs and services. This internship offers a meaningful opportunity for a motivated student to gain hands-on experience in grant research, fundraising strategy, and community engagement while contributing to an organisation making a real difference in people’s lives. Under supervision and guidance, the intern will: Research and identify grant and funding opportunities aligned with the organisation’s mission and programs. Assist in the preparation and drafting of grant applications, proposals, and supporting documentation. Contribute to the development of a fundraising strategy and calendar of funding opportunities. Support the design of donor communication materials and assist with outreach to potential sponsors or partners. Help collate data, stories, and impact evidence to strengthen funding applications and reports. Collaborate with the team to align funding opportunities with existing and upcoming projects.
