Role Title: Marketing Support Intern

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Mount Hawthorn
Support LG Professionals WA to promote the local government profession, strengthen member engagement and communicate the impact of our programs and initiatives across Western Australia.
Working alongside the Engagement team, you will help create engaging content, support campaigns, assist with events and contribute to a range of digital and print communications. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across marketing, communications, branding, social media and stakeholder engagement within a purpose-driven organisation.
Project approach:
• Develop engaging content for a range of communication channels.
• Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Assist with member engagement and event communications.
• Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute creative ideas that strengthen awareness of LG Professionals WA and the local government sector.
Local Government Professionals Australia WA is the peak representative body for local government professionals in Western Australia.
LG Professionals WA was established in 1936, and is a National Federation with member associations in each State and Territory, representing over 5,000 members across Australia, with over 800 members in Western Australia.
