Role Description

This proposed internship project will highlight the cultural traditions of care that existing culturally and linguistically diverse community carers bring from their countries of origin, including South Sudan, Iraq and Burundi.
The intern will combine short research summaries with carers’ personal reflections to show how culture shapes family life and caregiving. Narratives will be treated not only as stories but also as valuable research that deepens understanding of culturallyresponsive practice. Expected Outcome: A creative resource that can be uploaded to SharePoint, providing an engaging tool to learn more about cultural traditions of care. This resource will celebrate diversity, strengthen cultural awareness and support the goals of the Community Carers initiative.
