Role Title: Neurodiversity Support and Inclusion Intern

Organisation: Women at One Inc

Internship Period: Semester 1 (February - May)

Location: Rockingham

Role Description

The intern will assist the team in developing neuro-affirming resources and sensory-aware spaces. The intern will contribute to inclusive community activities and co-design simple tools to support late-diagnosed neurodivergent women (e.g. welcome packs, sensory maps, social guides).
The intern will also provide support within group environments, such as active listening, for neurodiverse participants in Women at One programs such as Ladies ND Lounge and Mend and Chat. Community members that the intern will interact with are mostly late-diagnosed neurodivergent women. However, they will interact with neurotypical people also.
