Role Summary:
The Project Intern will support Meningitis WA in the planning and coordination of key initiatives, with a focus on Seniors Week activities and early-stage preparations for projects scheduled for 2026. This role offers valuable experience in community engagement, health promotion, and project development within a not-for-profit setting. Key Tasks: Assist with the planning and logistics for Seniors Week 2025, including outreach, event preparation, and promotional material. Conduct research and contribute to planning documents for 2026 project initiatives. Support communications efforts such as drafting content for newsletters, social media, and stakeholder updates. Liaise with team members and external stakeholders as required to support project goals. Attend team meetings and contribute to project discussions. Skills & Attributes: Strong written and verbal communication skills Organised, with attention to detail Interest in public health, community engagement, or non-profit work Ability to work independently and take initiative
