Role Title: Evaluation Intern

Organisation: TSH (Telethon Speech and Hearing)

Internship Period: Winter (June - July)

Location: Wembley

Role Description

The intern will contribute to organisation-wide evaluation activities for early childhood intervention programs that support children’s communication and developmental outcomes and their families. The role sits within the Research & Evaluation Department and supports organisation’s quality improvement.
The intern will undertake the following tasks: 1. Data entry for a range of assessments across children’s developmental domains 2. Descriptive data analysis using Microsoft Excel 3. Preparation of summaries of key findings 4. Data visualisation (e.g. graphs or simple infographics), where appropriate The outputs from this work will support data-informed decision-making and continuous quality improvement across the organisation. Intern students will have the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary, family-centred, and highly professional environment, gaining exposure to evaluation in not-for-profit early childhood intervention programs. This role is suitable for students who have an interest in child development and wellbeing, family support, data informed quality improvement and who are confident using Excel for data entry and basic analysis.
