Role Title: Waste Project Intern

The summer intern will be part of the Waste and Resource Recovery team, based at the City of Fremantle Works Depot, 81 Knutsford Street Fremantle.
The Waste and Resource Recovery team manage a range of services for City of Fremantle residents, including household bin and verge collections, Fremantle Recycling Centre, Fremantle Containers for Change, public bins collection, and public area cleansing team.
The role will assist the Circular Economy Project Officer in a variety of waste related initiatives and a project to review waste services in multi-unit developments. The role includes liaising with internal and external stakeholders, data collection and analysing, organising and delivery of waste events or programs.
The unique character and atmosphere of Fremantle, its heritage architecture, festivals, retail stores and markets, cafés and restaurants, hotels and breweries contribute to a village style atmosphere that makes it a popular destination for visitors.
