Role Title: Event Delivery and 2026 Plan

The summer internship role will be responsible for:
1. Assisting with the delivery of the 2025 Volunteer Christmas event
2. Preparing a plan of events for 2026 and preliminary event planning for including:
(a) Volunteer Awards night (March 2026)
(b) 2026 Volunteer Service Awards (May 2026)
(c) 2026 Volunteer Coffee Catch-ups (Terms 2 and 3)
(d) EdConnect week (September 2026)
3. Understanding the restricted budgets that charities work with, our intern can investigate creative options to maximise celebration while minimising cost
4. Prepare invitation templates
5. Prepare event templates
EdConnect Australia is a charity that trains, supports and places volunteers in local schools to improve the lives of vulnerable students.
