The HR Personnel File Digitisation & Compliance Audit Intern will support the Human Resources department by assisting with the digitisation, organisation, and compliance review of employee personnel records. The role focuses on improving record accessibility, consistency, audit readiness, and compliance visibility across the organisation.
The intern will assist with reviewing existing physical and electronic personnel files, recommending a standardised electronic filing structure, scanning and uploading records (approx 65 files), and applying approved naming conventions and folder systems. The role also involves reviewing employee compliance documentation such as Police Clearances, Drivers Licences, Right to Work documentation, and qualifications, while assisting with updating the organisation’s HR Compliance Register.
Throughout the project, the intern will identify missing or expired documentation, flag potential compliance risks, and contribute to improving HR record management processes. The role is primarily administrative and project-based, involving independent task-focused work with periodic guidance and supervision from the HR Manager.
The intern will primarily interact with the Human Resources department. This role would suit students interested in Human Resources, Administration, Compliance, or Business operations who are seeking practical experience in HR systems, record management, and organisational compliance processes.
