Role Description

Support the continued development of LG Professionals WA's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Toolkit by identifying, researching and sharing emerging best practice from across Western Australia, Australia and internationally.
The project will build on the existing toolkit library, develop new case studies and practical resources, and help establish information-sharing initiatives that enable local governments to learn from one another. The focus is on translating research and leading practice into practical, accessible resources that strengthen workforce attraction, retention, leadership capability and inclusive workplaces across the sector. Project approach: • Review emerging academic, government and industry research. • Identify innovative and evidence-based DEI initiatives relevant to local government. • Develop practical case studies, tools and implementation resources. • Support the design of knowledge-sharing initiatives that promote collaboration and peer learning across the sector. • Prioritise practical, transferable and evidence-backed approaches.
