Role Title: Grants and Fundraising Intern

Organisation: Women at One Inc

Internship Period: Semester 1 (February - May)

Location: Rockingham

Role Description

This intern will support the development efforts of Women at One by assisting with research, preparation and management of funding opportunities. They will help identify potential donors and grant programs, draft and proofread grant proposals, track submission deadlines and maintain donor and grant databases. Additionally, they may assist with fundraising campaigns, donor communications and reporting on funding outcomes. This role provides hands-on experience in fundraising strategy, grant writing, and relationship management, while contributing to Women at One's ability to secure essential resources.
Community members that the intern will interact with are donor and funding organisations. The grants and fundraising intern will be expected to cold call contacts and lay the foundation for future, recipricatory relationships. The intern may also interact with late diagnosed, neurodivergent women.
