Role Title: Outreach Clinical Data & Team Experience Review

Our outreach teams travel to remote communities across Australia. The team consists of an Audiologist, a Nurse and sometimes, a NP or GP. During the visits teams conduct otoscopy, tympanometry and hearing testing. The first part of this project is a small quantitative review as part of a Quality Improvement project. One of the findings from Tympanometry is called a Type B result, and there are certain follow-up pathways to this. We are trying to ascertain how we are doing in these follow-ups and see if there is an improvement in hearing. The second part of the project is a qualitative review. After a trip, the teams complete surveys about the highlights, lessons, and statistics of children seen. We want to collate the information from 2026 and thematically analyse common issues, highlights to enable us to plan our programs and support staff better.
