Evaluation Intern: Compilation of Nintirri History

Role Title: Evaluation Intern: Compilation of Nintirri History

Organisation: The Nintirri Centre

Internship Period: Winter (June - July)

Location: Tom Price

Role Description

The Nintirri Centre Inc. has been an incorporated association since 1986. It started out as the Women's Activity and Socialising House (WASH) in August 1983. A group of local women opened the WASH because they were concerned about the lack of facilities in the town for non-working women, especially women with children.
Now, it offers a wide range of services over a number of different areas, including community health and wellbeing, family violence and counselling, empowered communities and art and culture development, early years care and education, social business and economic development. This internship will play a key role in documenting the Centre's history and evaluating its impact over time. With Nintirri's 40 years in 2026 we would like to have this project completed to present. Continuing on from a previous intern, you will be tasked with compiling a comprehensive report on the history of Nintirri, using historical records, including monthly Board reports. You will also evaluate trends in Nintirri’s service areas, offering insights into how these have evolved over time.
