The IT & Data Systems Intern will join the Patches x PrecisionDojo AI Acceleration Project, contributing to a range of initiatives focused on enhancing operational efficiency and digital innovation within Patches Australia. Working closely with the Patches technical and clinical teams, the intern will assist in improving data systems, streamlining workflows, and supporting the integration of emerging technologies, including AI and VR solutions used in therapy.
The role provides hands-on experience in IT systems design, data management, and digital transformation in a real-world health and education context. Interns will gain exposure to multiple ongoing projects such as the PrecisionDojo assessment tool, Patches VR Therapy Program, Out of School Hours Coding Club, and broader business systems improvement.
The intern will work under supervision to analyse, test, and document improvements across software tools and databases, while also contributing to developing strategies that improve accessibility, efficiency, and impact of Patches services across Australia.
