Role Title: A Social Impact Analysis Intern: Program Supporting Disadvantaged Children’s Futures
Organisation: Kids Are Kids!
Internship Period: Winter (June - July)
Location: Rockingham
The intern will be based in Kids Are Kids! Rockingham offices working with our management team to plan how a social impact analysis can be completed for our strong starts program and then completing the social impact analysis.
The Strong Start program at Kids Are Kids! is grant funded. It involves therapists working in disadvantaged schools to identify young children who are not developing properly and providing therapy to address these issues and upskill the school to help these and future children. This impacts their education, their family life, their employment potential, mental health and other areas. We would like to look at the short and long term benefits of the program and determine monetary value of the benefits to strengthen future grant funding applications and hopefully lobby to government to fund the program in the future to benefit more children.
To help children learn, grow and flourish through therapy and family support. To provide high quality and affordable family centred therapy services in a caring and supportive environment. For all children to meet their developmental potential.
