Organisation: City of Mandurah

Internship Period: Summer (November - December)

This will include exploring how missing assets can be identified by comparing existing asset records with aerial imagery, spatial data and other available sources, potentially using traffic-management devices as an initial use case. The intern will also develop automated validation checks to compare asset dimensions recorded in the asset register against QGIS spatial geometry, identify discrepancies and recommend where records can be corrected or further site verification is required. The role will provide practical exposure to TechnologyOne and QGIS, while developing skills in asset management, spatial data analysis, data quality assurance and process improvement.
