Role Title: Project Intern - Community Program

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: East Perth
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Project Planning and Delivery
Coordinate the planning, implementation and evaluation of community programs and projects.
Develop project plans, timelines, budgets and risk management strategies.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
Monitor project milestones and address issues that may impact delivery.
Support continuous improvement and innovation across community programs.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain positive relationships with government agencies, community organisations, funding bodies and other stakeholders.
Facilitate meetings, workshops and consultation sessions.
Develop collaborative partnerships that improve service delivery and client outcomes.
Represent the organisation at community forums, networking events and interagency meetings.
Community Development
Identify emerging community needs and service gaps.
Assist in developing initiatives that respond to local community priorities.
Promote community participation and strengthen community capacity.
Support vulnerable and diverse communities through inclusive engagement practices.
Project Administration
Prepare project documentation, reports, briefs and presentations.
Maintain accurate project records and databases.
Track project expenditure and assist with budget management.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, funding agreements and legislative requirements.
