Role Description

The Research Assistant Intern works as a member of the Strategy, Engagement and Education team within the Equal Opportunity Commission. The role contributes to the researching and writing process for the team's final report and draft research paper for the Commission's Young People's Mentorship Program. The Research Assistant Intern will be responsible for completing the draft of the report's literature review as well as contributing to the writing and preparation of a research paper associated with the program. In addition to this, the Research Assistant Intern will have the opportunity to engage with the current phase of the Mentorship Program and to learn skills associated with running a mentoring program for young people. The role will also include the opportunity to learn about the function of the Equal Opportunity Commission, in broad terms, and the services delivered by the Strategy, Engagement and Education team, in particular.
