Role Title: Leadership Program Intern

The Leadership Intern will support Cancer Network WA's strategic initiatives, stakeholder engagement activities, and health system improvement projects. This role provides an opportunity for an emerging leader to gain practical experience in healthcare leadership, project coordination, policy development, and collaborative partnerships while contributing to improvements in cancer care across Western Australia.
Working closely with Cancer Network WA leadership and project teams, the intern will assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives that support patient-centred, evidence-based, and equitable cancer care.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategic Support
Assist in the development and implementation of strategic projects aligned with Cancer Network WA priorities.
Support the preparation of reports, briefing papers, presentations, and leadership communications.
Contribute to environmental scanning and research on emerging trends, policies, and innovations in cancer care and healthcare leadership.
Participate in leadership meetings, working groups, and stakeholder forums as appropriate.
Project Coordination
Support project planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
Assist with coordinating meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Maintain project documentation, action registers, and progress reports.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service development projects.
